Richard Puckett

Richard Puckett, age 60 of Calhoun, passed away on November 16, 2015. Richard was born on July 13, 1955 in Gainesville, GA to Allene Williams Puckett and the late Arthur Puckett. He was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1973. Richard was a loving father and good friend to all. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Puckett. He is survived by his wife, Carol Puckett of Calhoun; his mother, Allene Puckett of Calhoun; four sons, Phillip Puckett, Jonathan Puckett, Wesley Dodd and Ethan Teague all of Calhoun; two daughters, Tammy Branton and her husband Adam of Cartersville and Harley Teague of Rockmart; three brothers, Steve Puckett and his wife Bernie of Harlingen, TX, Donald Puckett of Mt. Vernon, AL and Mark Puckett of Calhoun; sister, Ann Mathews of Calhoun; two grandchildren, Bryson Branton and Elaina Long; and his former wife, Lisa Puckett also survives. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, November 19th at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery with Dr. John Allen officiating. Pallbearers serving include Brandon Hayes, Steve Mincey, Brian Young, Rick Bradford, Danny Elder and Dennis Pennington.
