Richard Lee Cash

Thursday, March 06, 2008 Mr. Richard Lee Cash, age 63 of 415 Fite Bend Rd., Resaca, Ga., died Wednesday March 5th. in Gordon Hospital following a brief illness. Richard was born in Cobb County, Ga. on August 4, 1944 son of the late Andrew Jackson Cash and Ruth Moon Cash who survives him. He was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in Cobb County and was a self employed roofer. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by three brothers; Samuel Eugene, James Wesley and Bobby Lamar Cash. Survivors in addition to his mother are one son; Jeff Cash of Atlanta, one daughter; Pam Ferguson of Austell, Ga. , three grandchildren; Nancy, Michelle and Maci and two great-grandchildren; Angel and Madi. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 8th. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow in the Resaca Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbeaers serving include Jeff, Danny, Mike, Tim, and Tony Cash and Daniel Goswick and they are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45 A.M. Saturday.
