Retired MSGT Julian Dudley “Buck” Fuller, age 83, of Calhoun. Died Friday morning July 10th in Gordon Hospital.
Buck was born in Gordon County, December 25, 1925. Son of the late Dennis Mims and Velma Meadows Fuller. Most of his life was spent in defense of his country serving in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Pylant.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Fuller of Calhoun. Three sons, Julian Fuller and his wife Deborah of Lawrenceville, Ricki Fuller of Calhoun, and Peter Fuller of New Orleans. Two grandchildren, Ricki Fuller, Jr., and Ashley Fuller. One step-grandchild, Danille Casey also survives.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday July 13th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Dr. John Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery with full military rites accorded by Robbins Air Force Base.
Pallbearers serving include, Pete Lewis, Jerry Hicks, Jerry Clements, Ricki Fuller, Jr., Rex Robbins, and Jerry Chadwick. Honorary escorts will include Fred Nesbitt, James Brock, Max Reese, Bo Medders,Harold Crump, and Jack Knight.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8pm.
