Rebecca Yuonne Stewart

Wednesday, August 31, 2011 Rebecca Harper Stewart, age 62 of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday morning, August 31, 2011 at her residence. Rebecca was born July 22, 1949 in Gordon County. Daughter of the late Cleon T. and Rebecca Nora Norton Harper. Rebecca was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Plainville and was formerly employed by Southeastern Freight Line. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Stewart and sister, Lela Harper Fuquea. Survivors include; her son, Specialist Robert Jason Stewart and his wife Miranda of Ft. Hood, TX. Daughter, Sherry Stansell of Calhoun. Four grandchildren; Caleb Stansell, Jacob Hammond, Jonathan Timms, Aurora Morales-Timms. Special granddaughter, Becca Becker. Nephew, Mark Evans and his wife Wendy of Rome, GA. And niece, Cindie Robbins and her husband Shane of Plainville, GA. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, September 2nd at 1:00p.m. from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Ann Mann and Fred McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Salmon Cemetery. Pallbearers include; Chad Childers, August Cain, Everett Stewart, Jason Hammond, Clifford Bagley, and Dewayne Ballew.
