Rebecca Charlotte Carter

Rebecca Charlotte Carter, age 46 of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at her residence. Charlotte was born on March 25, 1967 in Atlanta, GA to Rebecca Imgram Robertson and the late Charles Jerry Gaines and. She was a member of the New Freedom Ministries and was employed as a contract nurse with United Health Care. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Derek Carter of Rome; one son, Thomas Byrne of Rome; two daughters, Teressa Wilson and her husband Chase of Rockmart, and Christie Pollick and her husband Mitchell of Cartersville; four brothers, Brian Gaines of Simmonsville, SC, Vann Gaines of Rome, John Gaines of Calhoun, and Jeremy Gaines of Ringgold; one sister, Jessica Gaines of Rome; one grandchild, Reece Duncan also survives. Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 2nd at 11:00am from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Barone. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 2nd from 10am until 11am at Thomas Funeral Home.
