Raymond D. Clark

Friday, December 29, 2006 Mr. Raymond D. Clark, age 70 of 980 Red Bud Rd. Calhoun, died Friday morning Dec. 29th. at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Clark was born in Santa Monica, California on October 5th. 1936 son of the late Harry and Francis Chantler Clark of London England. He had been a resident of Gordon County since 1970 and was employed in the Construction Industry prior to his retirement. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents; Dora and Gordon Chantler of London , England, brothers; Jack Clark and Larry Clark of Simi Valley, California. Survivors include his wife of 50 years Barbara Nichelson Clark of Calhoun, one daughter; Deborah Clark Jackson of Calhoun, a son; Danny Walter Clark of Calhoun, Three grandchildren; Natasha Jackson Williams, Larry Joseph Jackson II, and Michelle Patterson, Four great-grandchildren; Scarlett Katherine Williams, Skylar Cassandra Williams, Collin James Williams and Madison Patterson all of Calhoun. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 31st. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with family members officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 5:00until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday.
