Thursday, May 21, 2009 Mr. Cecil Randall Hixon, age 59 of Hunters Ridge, Adairsville, Ga. died Tuesday May 19th. at his residence . Cecil was born in Hamilton, County, Tn. on May 4, 1950 son of the late David Latner Hixon and Norma Shields Hixon who survives him. He had worked at World Carpet and Mohawk for 39 years in the Technical Division. Survivors in addition to his mother are his wife; Regina Lynn Hixon of Adairsville, a son; Chad Randall Hixon of Walnut Creek , California, a daughter; JoAnne Nicole Lunt and her husband Jason of Roswell, Ga., two brothers; Daniel Hixon of Chickamaugan, Ga and Joseph Hixon also of Chickamauga, Ga. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with his son Chad Hixon in charge of the services. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. on Sunday May 24th. The family requests that IN LIEU OF FLOWERS contributions be made to the American Cancer Society {Pancreatic Research} division.
