Randall "Wolfman" Rice

Randall “Wolfman” Rice, age 56, of Plainville, passed away suddenly Sunday afternoon May 29th from injuries received in an accident. Randall was born January 7, 1960 in Floyd County, son of Katherine Edwards Rice Morehead and the late James Harrison Rice who passed away in February 1970. He was a lifelong resident of Plainville and Shannon and was of the Church of God Faith. Besides his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda McMichen who passed away in April 2012 and his step-father, George Morehead who passed away in January 2009. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Morehead; three brothers, Lamar Rice and his wife Susan, Jimmy Rice, and Todd Rice and his wife Kristie; one sister, Brenda Morris and her husband Frankie all of Plainville. Eight nieces and nephews, Mark Rice, Matthew Rice, Levi Rice, Jaden Rice, Jordan Rice, Kaylie Rice, Summer Rice and Bryson Rice also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday June 1st at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Wells officiating. Ronnie Langley will have charge of the music and burial will follow in Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Tony Wade Gravitt, Jerome York, Tony York, Matthew Rice, LeRoy Hazlewood, Ronnie Langley and Saul Edwards. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
