Randall David "Randy" Childress

Randall David “Randy” Childress, age 55 of Calhoun died at 1:48 AM, Sunday, August 11, 2013 at his residence. Randy was born in Chattanooga, January 5, 1958, a son of Carolyn H. Reese Childress and the late Gerald L. Childress. Also, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Inez and Ralph Reese, Lillian and Robert Childress and an uncle, Gene Childress. He was an alumnus of Calhoun High School Class of 1976; and attended the Victory Fellowship Full Gospel Church. Randy is survived by his mother, Carol Childress, a son Justin Childress and his wife Michelle; two brothers, Rodney Childress, Rusty Childress and his wife Debbie; two sisters, Rhonda Worley and her husband, Lamar and Rachelle Clark; two grandchildren, Malone Childress, Jagger Childress, and a special niece, Candace Clark. Other nieces, nephews; and an uncle, Ronald Turner and his wife Judy also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 13th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Terry Timms officiating. Lindsey Adams will have charge of music. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with full military honors with James Collins in charge of graveside services. Pallbearers are Thomas and Tad Worley, Rocky Childress, James Collins, Davey Childress and Aaron Childress.
