Ralph E Miller

Ralph E. Miller, Jr., age 84, of Calhoun, passed away Friday September 4th at his residence. Ralph was born March 13, 1931 in San Gabriel, California, son of the late Ralph Miller, Sr. and Marian Price Miller. He was a very active member of Bethesda Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Miller and a sister, Dorothy Miller. Survivors include his wife, Helen Dixon Miller of Calhoun, two daughters, Barbara Garcia of Florida and Diane Paul of Newbury Park, California. Three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday September 7th at 11 am from Bethesda Baptist Church with Rev Wesley Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Jeff Rogers, Payton Daniel, Tadd Cochran, Doug Bell, Mike Fowler and Troy Casey. The family will receive friends from 3 until 6pm Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Ralph will be taken to the church on Monday at 9:30am to lie in state from 10am until the funeral hour.
