Puritt Ralph West

Friday, July 25, 2008 Mr. Pruitt Ralph West, age 52 of Greenville, Georgia and formerly Calhoun and Jekyll Island, Georgia died July 24 in Greenville. He was born in Gordon County, July 19, 1956 son of Ralph West and Readith Pruitt West. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle Pruitt, Jewell Pruitt, and Nellie Kate and Clark West. He had been employed by for a number of years by the Cities of Griffin and Manchester water treatment system plants. In addition to his parents, Ralph and Readith, Pruitt is survived by his wife, Melody McEntyre West of Calhoun; two sons, Clay Benjamin West and Tyler Robert West both of Calhoun; two brothers Anthony “Andy” West of Cartersville and Heinz West of Tucker; one sister, Connie West of Tucker; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 7:30 PM Sunday July 27th. in Chandler Cemetery with Jerry F. Smith officiating.
