Phyllis Scott Silvey

Phyllis Scott Silvey, age 82 of Resaca, GA, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Gordon Health & Rehabilitation.

Phyllis was born on October 26, 1938 in Scottsville, GA, daughter of the late Lloyd L. Scott and Annie Ruth Caldwell Scott. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by: her first husband, Bobby Lee Parker; second husband, Alan Silvey; two brothers, Paul Scott and Kenneth Scott; and sister, Peggy Scott. Phyllis was a graduate of Berry Academy Class of 1956. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Phyllis is survived by: her daughter, Susan Cooper and her husband Scott; two grandchildren, Christopher Robin Sapp and Tyler Cooper and his wife Chelsea; and three great-grandchildren, Rilyn Cooper, Emma Katherine Cooper, and Logan Thomas also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11 AM in Scott Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
