Peggy Brown

Sunday, November 29, 2009 Mrs. Peggy J. Brown age 75 of Adairsville passed away Friday evening at her home. Peggy was born January 29th, 1934 in Troup County Ga. to the late Robert Earl Coates And Grace Green Coates. She was the secretary and active in the Calhoun-Gordon County Bowling Association and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband Leonard H. Brown and her brother Robert Earl Coates II. Survivors include two daughters Wanda Cole and her husband Gene of Adairsville, and Lisa Todhunter and her husband David of Fayetteville Ga. Four grandchildren; Andrew Cole, Britt and Missy Cole, Adrienn and Jeremy Rhodes, and Ashleigh Todhunter. Three Great Grandchildren Brittany Cole, Logan Rhodes, and Kenli Rhodes. Funeral services will be conduced at 3:00 P.M. Monday from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Skates officiating. Entombment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving include Andrew and Britt Cole, Jeremy Rhodes, Tony Stowe, Chuck Richards, and Eddie Fox. These men are asked to meet at the funeral home at 2:45 P.M. Monday. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 9:00 P.M.
