Pearl Blankenship Scott

Pearl Blankenship Scott, age 81 of Calhoun, left for her heavenly home on Sunday, May 3, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Pearl was born on March 17, 1939 in Oakman, GA. She was the daughter of the late Tom Blankenship and Jessie Junkins Blankenship. In addition to her parents, Pearl was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Ben Blankenship and Jimmy Blankenship; and a sister, Mildred Blankenship. Pearl was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Pearl is survived by: her children, Michael Scott and his wife Dana, Tina Sobolewski and her husband Tommy, Mitchell Scott, and Jamie Scott and his wife Kristy; two sisters, Ruth Blankenship and Helen Stabenow and her husband Wally; brother, Gene Blankenship and his wife Sarah; grandchildren, Matthew Scott and his wife Lisa, Ashley Scott, and Paige Roland and her husband Seth; great-grandchildren, Lucas Santizo, Zoe Roland, Elena Santizo, Alice Roland, and Aria Cordovi; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins also survive. A celebration of Pearl’s life will be held at a later date due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
