Pauline Proffit

Pauline Proffit, age 89 of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at her residence. Pauline was born on March 1, 1926 to the late Charles and Martha Reese in Clay County, Kentucky. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a retired from real estate sales. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lee Proffit; son, William “Bill” Proffit; brother, Larry Reese; and sister, Charlene Reese. She is survived by her son, Anthony Proffit of Clarksville, Ohio; two daughters, Martha West of Calhoun and Sandra Patton of Cartersville; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 23rd at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home at 647 North Main Street, Monticello, KY 42633.
