Paulette Rosser

Paulette Rosser, age 88 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Hamilton Medical Center. Paulette was born on October 14, 1924 in Gordon County. She was the daughter of the late Grady Thomas and Esther Downey Thomas. Paulette was a member of the Russell Hill Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Pascal A. Rosser; one son, James Rosser; two brothers, Billy and Bobby Thomas; one sister, Evelyn Wilson. Survivors include: one son, Bobby Rosser and his wife Winnona of Calhoun; two daughters: Barbara Dunn and her husband Roger of Crandall, GA and Linda McEntire and her husband Mark of Alkol, West Virginia; three sisters: Catherine Mashburn of Dalton, Betty Todd of Holly Springs, GA and Doris Rogers of Gainesville, GA; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 9th at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Coggins and Reverend Joe Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include: Roger Dunn, Jamie Hayes, Byron Washington, William Schwartz, Tim Crawford and Justin Lamb. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 8th from 4 – 8pm at the funeral home.
