Paul William Gottleber, age 53, of Calhoun. Died Thursday afternoon January 29th at Emory Medical Center.
Paul was born in Saginaw, MI., July 13, 1955. Son of Irene Weiss Gottleber Lange and the late Burton Gottleber. He was a chemical technician with Dow Chemical for more than 24 years prior to his illness. Paul was a Deacon and member of the Belmont Baptist Church.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Bonnie Stramecky Gottleber. One son, Jacob and a daughter Bethany all of Calhoun. Two brothers, Mark Gottleber and his wife Rose of Saginaw and Ned Gottleber and his wife Chris of Grand Ledge, MI.. Two sisters, Ann Gould and her husband Jim of Saginaw and Jean Doolittle and her husband Dan of Jacksonville, FL.. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday February 2nd at 11am from the Belmont Baptist Church. With Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. Music will be arranged by Jim and Treva Sellers. Deacons will sever as pallbearers and employees at Dow Chemical will serve as Honorary Escorts.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5 pm and on Monday until 9:30 at which time Paul will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10am until the funeral hour.
