Pattie Miller Bishop, age 77, of Ooltewah and formerly of Calhoun, passed away Monday June 10th at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. Pattie was born November 7, 1935, daughter of the late Richard Miller and Louise Bennett Miller, she had lived in Calhoun for many years before moving to Ooltewah eight years ago. Pattie was a member of the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church and had been office manager for her husband Dr. Wilber Bishop prior to her retirement. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Wilber Bishop of Ooltewah, one son, David Bishop and his wife Carla of Calhoun, one daughter, Beth Barrow and her husband Doug of McDonald, Tennessee, one brother, Dr. R.R. Miller and his wife Patti of Calhoun, one sister, Jacqueline Miller of Dayton, four beloved grandchildren, Zack and Morgan Barrow, Diana and Carson Bishop, as well as a number of beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 15th at 5pm at the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Ken Mittleider officiating. Burial to follow in Chandler Cemetery with Pastor Gary Rustad with graveside rites. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 4 until 6pm at the funeral home, and on Saturday at the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church from 4pm until the funeral hour.
