Thomas Funeral Home 535 Red Bud Road NE Calhoun, Ga. 30701-1962 Patsy R. Rutherford, age 69 of Calhoun died at 7:32 PM, Tuesday, February 23 in Redmond Regional Medical Center. Patsy was born in McMinn County, Tennessee, October 14, 1940, daughter of the late William L. Brock and Velma Hughes Brock. Also, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rutherford, her step-father, Charles Williams, a sister, Barbara Bagley, and two half sisters, Martha and Lyda. She had lived in Gordon County for over 40 years; was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church; and had attended the Boone Ford Road Baptist Church: Patsy is survived by one son, Shannon Lunsford of Calhoun; two daughters, Michelle Cineas of Calhoun and Phyllis Wyatt and her husband Tommy of Plainville; two grandchildren, J.D. Wyatt and Shelly Wyatt of Plainville; a nephew, Newt Evans of Calhoun; nieces, Nancy Pratt of Calhoun, Cindy Evans of Calhoun, and Brenda Barnett of Calhoun; great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 26 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverends Eddie Brannon and Gary Quarrels officiating. Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery with Reverend Ross Tipps in charge of graveside services. The Rutherford family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. The Bohannon family and Tony Waters will have charge of music. Pallbearers are the Calhoun Housing Authority Maintenance Personnel. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 2:45 PM Friday. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
