Patricia Holder

Pat Holder, age 65 of the Ranger Community died Friday, April 29 in Floyd Medical Center. Pat was born, May 2, 1945, in Cleveland, Tennessee, daughter of the James and Louise Payne. She had formerly been employed by Wal-Mart and had lived in Gordon County since 1972. She is survived by two sons, Charles Holder and his wife Mary of Rome, Michael Holder and his wife Dawn of Ranger; one daughter, Melinda Tinsley of Texas; one brother, Jim Payne of Cleveland, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 6 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverends Ken Coomer and Roger Whorton officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Cemetery. Active pallbearers include; Bobby Hollingsworth, Andy Self, Jason Duncan, Zachary Holder, Zane Holder, and Joshua Tinsley. Honorary pallbearers include; Cody Lipscomb The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home preceding the service.
