Pamela Walraven Franklin, age 54 of the Red Bud Community, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Advent-Health Gordon Hospital.
Pamela was born on March 8, 1966 in Rome, GA to Dorothy Brown Walraven and the late Otto “Toby” Walraven. In addition to her father, Pamela was also preceded in death by: her sister, Janice Copeland; and a brother, Tony Edwards. She was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and worked as a caregiver for the elderly.
Pamela is survived by: her mother, Dorothy Walraven; two brothers, Walt Walraven and his wife Wanda and Joey Walraven and his wife Sharon; sister-in-law, Donna Edwards; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Walraven, Christen Walraven, Weston Walraven, Robert Copeland, Autumn Johnson, Amanda Rhodamer, Candi Walraven, Dawn Franklin, and April Edwards; and special great-nephew and great-niece, Hudson Walraven and Carter Walraven.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 19th at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with John and Jessica Mason officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving include: Weston Walraven, Hudson Walraven, Greg Brown, Barry Walraven, Timmy Walraven, Brent Walraven, and Robert Copeland.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 19th from 1 PM until 3 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
