Ora Woodall "WoWo" Lane

Mrs. Ora Woodall "WoWo" Lane, age 85, of Calhoun. Died Wednesday morning in the Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was born January 11, 1925 in Cherokee County, Georgia. Daughter of the late Homer C. and Naomi Knox Woodall. She was a homemaker and at the time of her death was attending the Heritage Baptist Church. Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin "Al" Lane in February 2002. Three sisters; Pauline Lusk, Bertha Bruce, and Jo Thomas. Four brothers; Nebie, Dink, Lealand, and Scoonie Woodall also precede her. Survivors include her son, Dennis "Wade" Lane and his wife Vickie of Destin, Fl.. Her daughter, Sherry L. Wilson and her husband Billy of Calhoun. Five grandchildren; Brandy Stokes, Tiffany Lane, Winde Stewart, Christopher Lane and Casey Lane. Five great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday November 27th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Brent Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.
