Onnie Will Kitchens

September 15, 2010 Mrs. Onnie Will Kitchens, age 95, died at Gordon Health Care following an extended illness. Onnie was born on September 23, 1914, in Avera, GA. She was the daughter of the late Fred M. Rivers and Gertrude Foy Loge. Mrs. Kitchens worked for the State of Georgia in the department of labor as a Claims Analysis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William R. Kitchens in 1975. She had been a resident of Gordon County since 2000 and is of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter Jan Geeslin and her husband Roy Geeslin Jr. of Ranger. One brother Frank Rivers of Wyoming, MI. Two grandchilren; Amy Geeslin Ochle of Kayenta, AZ and Christy Geeslin Gravitt of Colorado Springs, CO. Four nieces, three nephews, and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday from the graveside at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta, GA with Rev. Chad Cruise.
