Ola Mae Roberts

Monday, June 09, 2008 Mrs. Ola Mae Roberts, age 88 of Calhoun died at 7:40 PM, Sunday June 8 following an extended illness. Ola Mae was born in Murray County, December 21, 1919 daughter of the late John Henry Sisson and Dennis Buchanan Sisson. Her husband, Luther Roberts in March 2005; a son, Kenneth Roberts and 10 brothers and sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church. Ola Mae is survived by her daughter Debbie Fox and her husband, Dan of Calhoun; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 10 from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John Allen officiating. Jim and Treva Sellers will have charge of music, and burial will be in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday. Pallbearers are Josh and Matt Fox, Todd and Russ Roberts, Sanford Sisson and Claude Sisson. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:45 PM Tuesday.
