Mrs. Nellie Mae Tinch Hall, age 86 of Calhoun, died Thursday evening in the Gordon Hosptial following several weeks of declining health.
Mrs. Hall was born in Murray County, Ga. on December 31, 1920 daughter of the late Monroe and Rosie Mae Tinch Hall and had spent her entire life here. She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and was employed by Springs Industries for 20 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Buddy Denver Hall, a daughter; Martha Ann Hall, brothers; J.M., Paul B., Raymond and Bob Tinch, George, Claude , and Willard Hall, sister; Herlene Rosie Mae Tinch.
Survivors include two daughters; Ann Brown and her husband Raymond , Lynn Childers and her husband Herman, three sons ; Doyle Hall and his wife Darlene of Cleveland , Tn.., Harlan and Bobby Hall both of Calhoun, one sister; Grapell Headrick, and brothers; Bill Tinch and his wife Jean and Grady Tinch and his wife Ruby. 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild along with a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 28th. from the chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. William Roberts, Rev. Jimmie Timms officiating. Interment will be in the Sardis Cemetery in Murray County with Rev. Tony Hall will have charge of the graveside rites.
Pallbearers serving include Ricky, Tim, Jeff and Scott Hall, Ricky Silvers and David Alexander. Honorary pallbearers include Lamar, Mike, and Roger Tinch and Tony Hall and they are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M.
The Bohannon family and Betty Brock will have charge of the music.
