Ned Fuller

Thursday, November 29, 2007 Mr. Ned Fuller Sr. age 84 of 407 Reeves Station Rd., Calhoun, died today Wednesday November 28th. in Redmond Regional Medical Center . Mr. Fuller was born in Gordon County on December 2nd., 1922; son of the late Dolph Fuller Sr. and Maude Fouts Fuller and had been a lifelong resident and a well known farmer and was a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son; Ben Fuller, a sister Edna Nixon and a brother Dolph Fuller Jr. Survivors include his wife Maxine Fuller of Calhoun, two sons; Ted Fuller of Calhoun and Ned Fuller Jr. of Arlington, Va. , one daughter; Barbara DeFoor of Calhoun, three sisters; Mary Blankenship of Plainville, Maude Mae Fuller of Calhoun and Alice Panter of Calhoun, six grandchildren; Rhonda Townsend, Amy Jones, Brian DeFoor, Ben Fuller, Leah and Lenee’ Fuller, two great-grandchildren; Taylor Townsend and Gavin Jones. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Friday November 30th. From the chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Brian DeFoor, Ben Fuller, Wayne Bowen, Roy Ayres, Will Panter, Bud Faulkenberry, Barry Nix, Guy Silvers and Jason Barnette. Honorary pallbearers include, Jason Jones, Danny Hendrix, Russell Hendrix, Rufus Wyatt and Timothy Fowler and all these gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 2:30 P.M. Friday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home after 5:00 P.M. on Thursday evening.
