Nathan William "Nate" Ware

Nathan William “Nate” Ware, age 76, of Sugar Valley, passed away Sunday May 30th at AdventHealth Gordon.

Nate was born October 26, 1944, in Canton, Ohio. Son of the late Nathan Alexander Ware and Florence Reed Ware. He was a graduate of the University of Akron and prior to his retirement was the owner of Five Star Finishing in Chatsworth. Nate was a member of the Calhoun First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Ware of Sugar Valley; two sons, Douglas Ware and his wife Kimberly of Johns Creek and Benjamin Ware and his wife Kendell of Dearing, Georgia; one daughter, Jennifer Posey/Ware and her wife Heather of Athens; one brother, Timothy Ware and his wife Ruth of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; and two sisters, Kathryn Crable of Carrollton, Ohio and Carol Gotter and her husband Richard of Louisville, Ohio. Five grandchildren, Blake Ware, Avery Nathan Ware, Alice Louise Ware, Nathan Alexander Ware and Sarah Posey also survive.

The family will celebrate Nate’s life and receive friends at the Calhoun First United Methodist Church from 2 until 4pm on Saturday June 19th in the Christian Activities Room.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donation be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Calhoun First United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
