Mrs. Nancy H. Marciniak age 88 of Chickasaw, Alabama and formerly of Calhoun died Monday evening April 21st. at the home of her son.
Nancy was born in Floyd County March 13, 1920. Daughter of the late Thaddus Edgar and Daisy Holsomback Hefner. She was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church and had been a Gordon Hospital Volunteer for 25 years and a Red Cross Bloodmobile worker for the last 15 years. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Henry S. Marciniak in 1995. Three brothers Tom, Glenn, and Beck Hefner. Two sisters, Herlene Crider and Lois Land also precedes her.
She is survived by her son, Charlie Shuler and his wife, Carolyn of Chickasaw. Three brothers, Orel “Bud” Hefner and his wife Viola of Nebraska, Rudolph Hefner and his wife Sara of Calhoun, and Norman Hefner and his wife Jean of Resaca. Five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral mass for Mrs. Nancy H. Marciniak will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday April 25th. from St. Clements Catholic with Father Joseph Shaute in charge. Interment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving include Mark Shuler, Paul Shuler, John Hefner, Greg Sanders, Robert Stamey, Thad, Rod , and Ron Hefner.
The family will have visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday with Rosary Mass at 7:30 P.M. at the Thomas Funeral Home.
