Nancy H. Davis

Nancy H. Davis, age 83 of Calhoun, passed away this morning at Morning Pointe Assisted Living. Nancy was a school teacher for Cabell County School system. She was a member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church in Huntington, WV and attended the Calhoun First United Methodist Church in Calhoun, GA. Nancy is preceded in death by the late Williams Ludwell Harrison, Estelle Bruce Lester, and her husband Jack Paul Davis. Survivors include her daughters: Ginger McGraw of Waller, TX and Jackie Jones of Calhoun, GA; one son, Bruce Davis of Bella Vista, AR; one brother, Luddy Harrison of Cornwall, NY; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 18th from the Calhoun First United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday October 18th from 6 until 7pm in the fellowship hall of the church just prior to the service. Memorial services with burial to follow on Saturday October 20th at 11am from the Abbey of Devotion at Ridgelawn Memorial Park in Huntington, West Virginia with Rev. Hubert Harvey officiating.
