Michael D. Stanley

Michael D. Stanley, 69, of Calhoun passed away on April 14th, 2024 at home. 

Michael was born December 2nd, 1954, in Whitfield County, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents Grover and Jessie Lee Stanley. Siblings: Bobbie Jean Brookshire, Ola Brooks, and Jr. Stanley, all of Dalton.

Michael was a loving husband and father.  He was also an avid golfer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruby Stanley, his son Eric Stanley, and his sister, Gail Green of Chatsworth.

Nieces, Cindy Mincey of Calhoun, and Tina Russell of Dalton. Nephews,  Tim and Allen Green of Chatsworth.  A visitation to celebrate the life of Michael will be held Thursday evening April 18^th from 4-6 p.m. from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home.
