Michael Allen Holloway

Mike “Michael” Allen Holloway, of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Mike was born on June 4, 1963 in Alabama. Son of Avis Allen and the late Wynell Hollaway. Mike was an avid Alabama Football fan “Roll Tide.” He had a love for the outdoors, hunting and grilling. In addition to his mother, he was preceded by his grandmother, Fannie Mae Holloway. Survivors include; his wife of 23 years, Susan Valeria Holloway. His father, Avis Allen and his wife Betty of Calhoun. One son, Jimmy Brown and his wife Kaytelynne of Cartersville. Two dogs he considered daughters; Lulu Holloway and Izzy Holloway. Two brothers; Kirk Jackson and Brent Holden of Calhoun. One sister, Tamara Allen Kilgore and her husband Rick of Calhoun. One granddaughter, Ansley Brown. A very special mother in law, Martha Millsaps and two special friends, Richard Fouts and James Lee Kile also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00pm on Monday, June 18th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeff Duvall officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Jason Benefield and employees of XL Adhesive Textile Rubber Company. The family will receive friends from 5 – 9pm on Friday and Saturday at the funeral home.
