Meriam Joyce Reeves Miller

Meriam Joyce Reeves Miller, age 71 of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Gordon Health Care. Meriam was born on August 2, 1948 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Olen Lewis Reeves and Mary Kemp Reeves. She was a longtime resident of Tampa, Florida before moving to Calhoun in 1990. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Douglas Miller. Meriam is survived by: three daughters, Debra Cooper and her husband Allen of Oakwood, Ga, Paula McKnight, Allison Genovese; two sons-in-law, Eric McKnight and Anthony Genovese; brother, Bobby G. Reeves; sister, Jane Spano; nine grandchildren, Callie Strickland, Clint Cooper, Erica DeRosa, Paul McKnight, Eric McKnight, Alissa Genovese, Alanna Genovese, Alec Upshaw and Aiden Upshaw; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Strickland, Charlotte Strickland and Brooks DeRosa. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Corey Forsyth officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 2 PM until the funeral hour.
