Melody Faye Fields Hogan

Melody Faye Fields Hogan, age 39 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at AdventHealth Gordon. 

Melody was born on March 14, 1985, in Whitfield County, GA, the daughter of the late Jeffrey Lamar Fields and Maggie Faye Johnson Fields. She was a graduate of Gordon Central High School Class of 2002. She loved being a servant to people, and never met a cat she didn’t like. 

Melody is survived by her beloved husband Jason and daughter Alanna Rose Hogan, Aunt Carol and Uncle Stanley, sister Joan DeFreese and David DeFreese, niece Tiffany DeFreese, nephew Anthony Brake, Aunt Stacy Johnson Ferro, Aunt Martha Bullock and Chester Bullock, Cousins Leslie Kinsey Sousa, Hunter, Brianna, Cody and Emme and numerous others. 

The family will receive friends at Thomas Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 12 PM until 1 PM. 

A celebration of the life of Melody will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family towards final expenses.
