Maxine Patricia Lawrence

Maxine Patricia Lawrence, age 61 of Calhoun, passed away early Tuesday morning March 13, 2012 at her residence following an extended bout with cancer. Patricia was born November 28, 1950 in Canton, Georgia. Daughter of the late Harry Terrell Lawrence, Sr. and Florence Evelyn Crisler Lawrence. She was a customer service representative with Mohawk Industries prior to her illness. Survivors include, one sister, Cris Lawrence Ikerd and her husband Earl of Mustang, OK, one brother, Terry Lawrence and his wife Linda of Douglasville. Her nieces, Fran Chestnut, Sandy Roberts, Terri Orton, Michelle Lawrence and Natalie Lawrence, six great-nieces, one great-nephew and a special friend, Mary Sumner also survives. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Maxine Patricia Lawrence will be conducted Sunday at 4pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Foley officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 3:00p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Echota Pet Advocacy and Rescue Group @ 202 William Street, Calhoun, Georgia, 30701.
