Maxine Silvers Fuller, age 87, of the Reeves Station Community. Died Wednesday August 11th in the Redmond Regional Hospital.
Maxine was born January 8, 1923. Daughter of the late Robert Chesley Silvers and Tennie Ethel Crook Silvers. She was a homemaker who had spent her life in Gordon County and was of the Baptist faith. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Fuller, Sr. and a son, Ben Fuller. Four brothers and sisters also precedes her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara DeFoor and a son, Ted Fuller both of Calhoun. Six grandchildren; Amy Jones, Rhonda Townsend, Brian DeFoor, Ben Fuller, Leah Tucker, and Lenee Fuller. Two great grandchildren; Taylor Townsend and Gavin Jones also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning August 13th at 10AM. From the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Dr. Stephen Pearson and Rev. Garry Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Brian DeFoor, Guy Silvers, Ben Fuller, Robin Holland, Jason Jones, Todd Tucker, and Barry Nix.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5 until 8pm.
