Matthew Ryan Lane

Monday, April 20, 2009 Mr. Matthew Ryan Lane, age 31 of Dews Pond Rd., Calhoun, died Sunday at his residence. Matthew was born in Pascagoula, Ms. on April 5, 1978 son of John Floyd and Pamela Jo Dumas Lane who survive him. He had been a resident of Gordon county since 1988 and had been formerly employed by Mohawk Carpets. He was a member of the New Town Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife Kym Poole Lane of Calhoun, two sons; Christopher and Hunter Lane of Calhoun, a daughter; Mia Lane of Calhoun, His grandmother; Edith Herron of Grand Bay, Al. and a brother Justin Lane of Calhoun. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 22 from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Cary Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Jonathan Robbins, Jeremy Cray, James Hellard, Shannon and Jonathan DeFoor and Mario Porras. Honorary pallbearers include Larry Powell, Nicholas Wallace and Richard Brown and they are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:45 P.M. on Wednesday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 on Tuesday Evening.
