Mary Elizabeth Wilbanks

Mary Elizabeth Wilbanks, age 91 of Clover, SC and formerly of Gordon County, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Piedmont Medical Center of Rock Hill, SC. Mary was born on November 16, 1925 to the late John Gaines, Sr. and Nellie Sexton Gaines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wilbanks; and a son, Michael "Mike" Wilbanks. Mary is survived by her son, Billy Wilbanks and his wife Bonnie of Clover, SC; and one sister, Doris Hunt; granddaughter, Emily Sherlock and her husband Matthew; two great-granddaughters, Abigail Rose and Madeline Grace Sherlock. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2 PM from New Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Lamar Bearden and Reverend Steve Corbin officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1 PM until the funeral hour of 2 PM.
