Mary Lee Stanley

Mary Lee Cudd Stanley passed 22nd December 2015 at Gordon Hospital (3:11 pm). She was born in Walker County to Robert Lee Cudd and Vernie Violie Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Ferguson, Lucille Gravitt and Bobby Stanley; and grandson, Jeremy Hendrix. Mary is survived by her husband Emanuel Baxter Stanley; two sons, Harold Stanley and his wife Sara, Donald Stanley and his wife Yvette, a daughter Wanda Faye Walker and her husband Walter; brothers, James Cudd and his wife, Shirley, Roy Lee Cudd and his wife Levi; sisters, Evelyn Sewell and her husband Aleck, Forrestine Parm and her husband Elbert. Ms. Stanley’s grandchildren include: Adam Hendrix and his wife Shonda, Kendall Stanley and his wife Brooke, Derek Stanley and his wife Jennifer, and Tiffany Hammontree and her husband Jacob; two great-grandsons; and three step-great-grandsons also survive. Ms. Stanley was formerly employed with Kuhlman Chenille. She lived the majority of her life in Gordon County, and had attended Sugar Valley Church of God. Her graveside service begins at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23rd in Gordon Memorial Gardens. The Chaplin of Transitions Hospice will conduct graveside services. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for the services of Mary Lee Cudd Stanley.
