Mary Lavelle Rice Mincey

Mary Lavelle Rice Mincey, age 87 of Adairsville, passed away on Saturday, July 1^st at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on August 24, 1935, in Adairsville to the late Clifford Rice and Florine Rice. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Prior to retirement she was employed at Carriage Carpets and had several part-time jobs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Mincey; three brothers, Delmer Rice, Ronnie Rice, and Bernard Rice; son-in-law, Michael Fletcher.

She is survived by her children, Patricia A. Fletcher, and Ken J. Mincey; grandchildren, Christy Brown and her husband Wesley, Suzanne Fletcher, Blake Mincey, Colby Mincey, Kirby Mincey, and Tristan Mincey; great-grandchildren, Ryan Brown, Justin Brown, and Hope Brown; great-great grandchild, Wrenley Mae Brown.

Graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 5^th at 2 PM from Gordon Memorial Gardens with Reverend Keith Reid officiating.
