Mary Elizabeth Chadwick Johnson

Mary Elizabeth Chadwick Johnson, age 88 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at her residence. Mary was born on May 28, 1932 in Franklin, North Carolina to the late Sam Chadwick and Blanche Chadwick. She was a member of Crane Eater Community Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by: a daughter, Vickie Baker; son-in-law, Robert Logan; grandson, Shane Logan; and a sister, Betty Chadwick. She is survived by her loving husband, Ray Johnson of Calhoun; son, Tommy Davidson and his wife Patsy of Calhoun; daughters, Shirley Caldwell and her husband Calvin of Tennessee, Patricia Logan of Calhoun; brother, Luther Chadwick of South Carolina; two sisters, Dottie and Minnie of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren, Randy Logan, Crystal Logan Long, Danny Caldwell, Chris Caldwell, Cheryl Vickers, Tammy Phillips, Tiffany Lawrence, Eric Davidson, Zac Davidson, Shane Logan, and Page Reid; 18 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM from Crane Eater Community Church with Reverend Howard Strickland officiating. Entombment will follow at Chandler Cemetery. Mary will lie-in-state at the church from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour. Pallbearers serving are Zac Davidson, Eric Davidson, Randy Logan, Chris Caldwell, Danny Caldwell, and Dillan Logan.
