Mary Lou Bunch

Mary Lou Bunch, age 87 of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, April 27th at Ridgewood Manor in Dalton, GA.

Mary was born on May 26, 1935, in Pike County, GA, daughter of the late Charlie Pike and Nannie Lee Fogarty Pike. Mary was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and a volunteer at Gordon Hospital for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Glynn Bunch, two sisters, Martha Jane Gunter and Eleanor Jackson, and a brother, Douglas Pike.  

Mary is survived by her daughter, Patti Pass; grandson, Danyl Pass; two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Cooper Pass; and a brother, Marvin Pike. Her lifelong friend Kay Robbins and her daughter, Amber Norman and her children, Adam Pruitt and his wife Melanie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 1^st from 11 – 1pm at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1pm Monday, May 1^st from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Parrott officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens.
