Marvan O’Neal Burrell, age 44 of Joelton, TN, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 in Chattanooga, TN.
Marvan was born on November 7, 1970 in Nashville, TN to Ulysses Burrell and Janice McClure Burrell. He graduated from Calhoun High School Class of 1989, and then attended Shorter College on a Drama Scholarship. He worked for Millennium Taxi Services.
He is survived by his parents, Ulysses Burrell and his wife Brenda of Joelton, TN and Janice Burrell of Calhoun; three brothers, Maurice McClure of Chattanooga, TN, Marcus Burrell and his wife Nekita of Hiram, GA, Chris Burrell and his wife Erin of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Maya Foster and her husband Lennox of Aurora, IL and Gwendolyn Burrell of Lutherville Timonium, MD; several uncles, aunts and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, October 3rd at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery with Deacon Bradford Krupa in charge of graveside rites.
Cousins will serve as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 PM with a prayer service by Father Joseph Shaute at Thomas Funeral Home.
