Martha Ann Silvers McClure

Martha Ann Silvers McClure, age 66 of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at her residence.

Martha was born on February 24, 1956, daughter of the late Henry W. “Bob” Silvers and Helen Sue Silvers. In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by: her husband, Daymon MClure; step-mother, Sandra Worthington Silvers; and two brothers, Bobby Silvers and Keith Silvers. She was a Calhoun High School Graduate Class of 1973 and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement Martha worked in the lunchroom for the Gordon County School System. She was an avid traveler. Martha loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Martha is survived by: her daughter, Danielle Fisher and her husband Caleb; one son, Bryan Holland and his wife Victoria; step-daughter, Tishanna McClure; seven grandchildren, Bryce Holland and his wife Katie, Brock Holland and his wife Kaitlyn, Lenora Fisher, Lillian Fisher, Ezra Holland, Rand DeFoor and Camilla Owsley.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Long officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery.

Pallbearers serving include: Bryce Holland, Brock Holland, Noel Luna, Brian Holland, Johnny Campbell and Robbie Campbell.

Honorary Pallbearers include: Phillip McDaniel, Ranal Young, William Boswell, Luke Campbell, Brent Bennett, Jason Burnett, Justin Burnett, B.R. Roberts, Lonnie Roberts, Ricky Silvers, Joe Dean, Danny Childers, Dillon Horton and Morris Williams.
