Marjorie L. Gilstrap

Marjorie L. Gilstrap, age 89 of Cartersville, GA, departed this life on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2020 in the comfort of her home. Marjorie was born on June 2, 1931 in Fulton County, GA, the daughter of the late Herbert and Edith Morgan. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was also preceded in death by: her husband, Billy Gilstrap; brother, Bobby Morgan; and niece, Mellina Morgan. Marjorie was a member of White United Methodist Church. Marjorie is survived by: two sisters-in-law, Betty Mathews of White, GA and Hilda Morgan of Adairsville, GA. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at 2 PM in White Methodist Cemetery with Bob McMillan in charge of graveside rites. Pallbearers serving include: Heath Bruce, Chris Allen, Glenn Kimbrel, Martin Sargent, and Hal Sargent. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at White Methodist Church. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the family will require that guests wear masks for the services and practice social distancing in line with the CDC guidelines.
