Margarett Jeanette West

Margarett Jeanette West, age 83 of Plainville, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Jeanette was born on February 15, 1932 in Calhoun to the late Willie B. “Pedro” Owens and Fannie Clyde Stone. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove (RYO) Baptist Church and was retired from GA Tufters. Jeanette was a loving mother and house wife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Gayla West; sister, Mildred Jolley; and brother, Glenn Owens. Survivors include her son, Gary West of Plainville; daughter, Joan Rickett and her husband David of Calhoun; her former husband, A.W. West; two grandchildren, Wesley Kerce and Cody West; and two great-grandchildren, Reagan Kerce and Chance West. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, April 12th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Cody West, Wesley Kerce, Layne Temple, Chris Temple, Jacin Burns and Joseph Crider.
