Margarett Ann Powell

Margarett Ann Powell, age 49 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at her son’s residence. Margarett was born on July 25, 1963 in Austell, GA. She was the daughter of the late Albert James Gaskin and Mary France Feathere. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Powell. Survivors include: two sons, Bobby Powell and his wife Stephanie of Nicklesville, and Anthony Powell of Nicklesville; one daughter, Amanda Duncan and her husband Wesley of Calhoun; two sisters, Evelyn Stanley of Gordon County, and Cindy Townsend of Blue Ridge and her husband Tim of Blue Ridge. Five grandchildren, Dylan Powell, Keith Duncan, Allie Duncan, Lily Powell and Dakota Powell also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 11th at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Steven Cochran officiating.
