Margaret Allene Yates

Margaret Allene Yates, age 84 of Gordon County, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her residence. Margaret was born on September 25, 1931 in Fulton County, daughter of the late William Henry Cole and Hester Mullinax. She was a member of the North Atlanta Baptist Church. Margaret was a dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Russell Yates; two sons, William Robert Yates and his wife Rita and Steven Russell Yates; one daughter, Donna Gale Yates; one brother, John “Johnny” Cole and his wife Jane; three grandchildren, Dixie Yates, Russell Hucks, and Kristen Yates; and six great-grandchildren also survive. Graveside Rites will be conducted at 3pm Wednesday November 4th at Mt. Harmony Memorial Garden in Mableton.
