Mandy Galmon

Saturday, July 04, 2009 Mrs. Mandy Cudd Galmon, age 96, of Calhoun. Died Saturday morning July 4th in Gordon Hospital. Mrs. Galmon was born on April 22, 1913. Daughter of the late John and Lizzie Bailey Cudd. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband Willie Ross Galmon. Two sons; Clarence Wade Galmon and Slagle Ross Galmon along with several brothers and sisters also preceded her. Survivors include two sons; Billy Galmon and his wife Jan of Calhoun, and Charles Galmon and his wife Beverly of Cookville, TN.. Five daughters; Edna Ray, Juanita Galmon, LouAnn Ward and her husband Jerry, Madge Galmon and Mandy Robertson and her husband Mathew all of Calhoun. Eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday July 6th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Jimmie Timms and Rev. Larry Naylor officiating. Randy Seabolt will arrange music. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving include Robert Reeve, Steve McGlamery, Lowell Coggins, Richard Wright, Joe Gallman, and Donald Gallman. The family will receive friends Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6 until 8pm.
