Mr. Mack Wayne Bramlett age 83 of Calhoun, died Wednesday morning at his residence following several weeks of declining health.
Mack was born in Gilmer County on Feb. 15, 1926 son of the late Harvey Walker and Nora Elizabeth Frost Bramlett. He was a member and Deacon of the Northgate Church of Jesus Christ, was retired from the textile industry and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife Gladys Mullins Bramlett of Calhoun, four sons and daughters-in-law; Michael and Wendy Bramlett of Plainville, Frank and Charlsie Bramlett of Calhoun, Larry and Gail Bramlett of Calhoun, and Roy and Samantha Bramlett of Rome, five daughters; Linda Bramlett of Calhoun, Rebecca Bramlett of Dalton, Joyce Knowles and her husband Gary of Calhoun, Debora Parris and her husband Clark Edward of Calhoun and Eleanor DeFoor and her husband Thomas of Calhoun, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday December 4th. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Owenby and Rev. Joe Fountain officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ray Robinson conducting the graveside services.
Grandsons and James Williams will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Macks Granddaughters alomg with, M. L. Silvers, Tim Pelusi, Tim Parker and Bill Cornett and all these gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45 A.M. on Friday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday.
