Mrs.Luteen Sutton Parker

Mrs. Luteen Sutton Parker, age 92 of Calhoun, Ga., passed away on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, at Calhoun Crossing Nursing Home. 

 Mrs. Parker was born on June 21st, 1932, in Bryson City, North Carolina to the late Adam Sutton and the late Elvaree Sutton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chesley Walter Parker; daughter, Barbara Balliew. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing and loved taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 Survivors include her son, James Parker; two grandsons, Stuart Balliew and his wife, Heather and Jamie Balliew and his wife, Kelly; 3 great-grandchildren, Ryley Jones, Brody, and Baylee Balliew; five sisters, Becky, Maylee, Marie, Barbara, and Maxine.

 Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, at 2 PM in the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. 

 The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 5th, from 12 PM until 2 PM at the funeral home.
